Marc Levy M.D.

Dr. Levy was born in Orlando, FL at Orange Memorial Hospital, now Orlando Regional Medical Center.  He graduated from Edgewater High School then attended Vanderbilt University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering.  He participated in research involving the “shock lung” model.  After graduating college he attended medical school in Tampa, FL at the University of South Florida College of Medicine.


Following medical school Marc began his general surgery residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC).  During residency he did a one year fellowship in extracorporeal life support (heart/lung bypass for children) and critical care at the Boston Children’s Hospital.  He then completed his general surgery training in Orlando.  He did his Pediatric Surgery fellowship at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, AR.  After his fellowship he took a job in Orlando, FL and has been in practice as a Pediatric Surgeon since 1998.


Dr. Levy is board certified in both General and Pediatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association.  He serves as the Director of Surgical education for the general surgery residents who rotate on the pediatric surgery service at Arnold Palmer hospital.


His areas of professional interest include minimally invasive surgery, neonatal surgery encompassing a wide range of congenital anomalies, and solid organ tumor surgery.
